Matty Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 This is not for me. Please read. I was over on NJH and noticed a thread where one of our fellow hunters has lost his young 17 year old brother in a car accident. So tragic. If you haven't already, I thought it would only be right for us to go back from where we once came and offer this brother of ours condolences for his loss. This one hit me especially hard because I have a (much younger than me) little brother that JUST got his permit to drive 6 days ago. I imagine all parents or older siblings of young drivers must have this fear lurking in their minds. If you will, please send your thoughts and prayers out to the young man and his family. http://www.newjerseyhunter.com/article145102.htm “I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
kmtpr Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Am SO Sorry to hear he didn't pull through. Prayers and Condolences go out to him and his family. Matty Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Kathy, it's tragic. I've been sick, so I haven't been able to sleep well anyway, most of last night I laid in bed just praying for and thinking about that young man. Don't even know his name, but I thought for sure we could get him to pull through. Was so deeply saddened to read he had not.:( “I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. birdshotnj Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 That's horrible. Why does someone so young have to be taken from us? May God be with his family
Hatchet Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 It's always sad to see the young being taken away so quick.god speed You add camo to anything, it immediately becomes cool.
Jeff M Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 God bless Hey, I once got handed down underwear and a paperclip for Christmas, and it was a great gift. - Si
