Shug
So Since switching from a tan to a release aid not long ago I’ve been using the back strap( nock on) I bought 4 of them but they weren’t consistent in going off. I recently bought a Stan xtinction 2 amd the one goes off perfectly so I ordered 2 more.. Im curious what you guys are shooting… if you shoot them with back tension and if you own more than one do they go off consistently?

BowhunterNJ
I really liked my Carters when I was shooting with an index finger release. https://www.carterenterprises.com/releases/index-finger-trigger/quickie-1-plus electricstart and Cousin Brown

hammer4reel
I hate wrist strap releases . Much rather shoot a concho style as their is nothing hanging off my wrist when not needed . if I shoot a wrist it’s been a truball stainless assassin. ‘The Scott calipers have also worked well Coyoteslayer and Shug

Cousin Brown
I been using the Trufire Hardcore. Carters are great. Shug 1 Treestands don't demand, treestands don't complain, treestands simply ask me to sit down and listen.
JHbowhunter
love my trufire wrist strap and buckle. Use my trigger finger. I have a spare in the pack but never had to use it. Been shooting this one since 2006 when I switched over to a string loop. Shug and Coyoteslayer 2 Nothing spooks deer more than my stank… 16 3/4” Live Fluke Release Club I shot a big 10pt once…. not on the rug
I've been shooting the TRU Ball Assassin for the past few years and really enjoy it. Before that, I was shooting a TruFire. I can't remember the model. I like the TRU Ball better Shug
Rjtfd
I’ve been using Scott mongoose for the last 30 years. No longer made and I’m trying to find one that no one is using anymore. Scott release told me the recon is similar but haven’t had one in my hands yet. I like the wrist strap cause it’s attached and no chance of dropping it. vdep217
I use a true fire edge. Very consistent imo. Shug

Jcol6268
The last few years I’ve been shooting the Spot Hog Wise Guy. It’s adjustable and has a super trigger. They say it’s a lot like a target release and I gotta say, it’s the only wrist release I can get a true surprise release on, like my hinge style. But if you want a heavier trigger without that then it’s adjustable. It’s super consistent but I’ll be honest I don’t have a back up and can’t speak to release to release if that’s what you’re wondering as far as consistency.
