VIDEO 05/25/2023: Coyote hunting for fawns in Burlington County NJ

Just took this footage by my house shortly ago.

This coyote has been roaming around our neighborhood for the last week or so. Very visible and always on the hunt. I was able to sneak up on it and get some footage, and you'll hear a deer snort in the distance as it runs away from me and toward where the deer was bedded.

Saw one around 10:00 today and a different one yesterday, mid day.

Plus the one in my yard a few days ago.

They are hunting for fawns 

Also turkey clutches are hatching, had a hen give me the injured routine two days ago

Cool footage Matt. Was talking with @gobblergetter today at the house and was saying how this Spring has been the definite worst season for turkeys due to the low numbers in NNJ. Each day and night I have yotes and fox on camera. 

Went for walk yesterday and came upon a bearded hen feeding in a field. She moved away when she saw me but then proceeded to come back to the field I was in less than 40 yards away. 

Told Mike that she will not be long for the woods if she doesn't smarten up with the predators crushing them.

I saw a lone hen walking around my property today.  Surprised the yote didn't go after her.
