A&W Nature Labs LLC Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 We hope to see lots of pictures and read lots of stories about exciting YOUTH DAY hunts tomorrow! On these days success is not just measured a harvested deer. It mostly will be measured in the quality time and memories created with sons, daughters, nephews, nieces, grandchildren and friends! Enjoy their excitement of the, "night before the hunt" and walking out the door wondering what is going to happen! Best of luck and everyone please be safe! Tarhunt Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 My son said that he's going to hold out for either the big 10 or 12 point that's been on the property in the recent days. We'll see. The farmer requested a doe so, we'll see what happens. We plan on staying out the whole day. LPJR and Ms Grit 2 "The Nation Which Forgets Its Defenders, Will Itself Be Forgotten".

Heavyopp Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 We're all geared up, truck is loaded, ready to go -- My son has his last roller hockey games this weekend -- Tomorrow is 5PM We're hoping to be done by 10am but we have to leave by 2:30 no matter what -- we'll see what happens Going to bed soon...
buckfever1974 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Off to bed for the kids. 30-35 years ago I remember being forced to go to bed on Friday nights as Dallas was coming on TV. If I wasn't in bed by then I wasn't allowed to go.
Matty Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Good luck all. All the gear is ready, but still waiting for final approval from Walkers mom. I thought this was a go but apparently not yet. Looks like an afternoon hunt only at this point. If that.... Fingers crossed. I have a great spot in mind for the pm wind direction as long as we get the green light. “I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
