Why is it asking for a CID # to enter my daughter as a student, if she doesn't have one yet???

Think you're applying for the field session she needs to do the parts prior

Registration for Hunter Education field sessions will open mid-February until October. Be sure to use the student’s CID number when registering for a Field Session.

If you go to https://nj.aspirafocus.com/internetsales you can create a new account first for her and get the CID #.  Then go to huntercourse to register.  At least that is how it worked for my daughter when I did it the most recent time.

Def not. We'll just proceed with course and straighten that out later. I put mine in for now, figuring since she's a minor that may be reason it's asking for one, idk.

It has nothing to do with being a minor. Anyone buying a fishing or hunting license needs their unique CID number which they will always keep. You can get her her own online and then register for the hunter Ed course which is how it works.

This is the way. You aren’t buying anything. Just creating a profile. You have to use her info, not yours. It will give you her unique CID#. It won’t allow you to buy a license anyway until she gets her hunter education cert. I just did this last year for my son

Thanks guys, been a while since I put a kid through the course.

I generated her a CID# as per instructions above and called to remove my number and add hers.
