First time for trout in over a year.

Finally making the effort to fish more now that the kids are a little older now and can slip away. Hit a heavily stocked river right in town this morning. First spot produced nothing so moved down stream a few hundred yards.  4 trout netted total In about 40 mins and lost a few others.  2 of the netted trout went right back as they were maybe 9”. First one caught was a nice size. I’m assuming a fall stocker. Felt good to be back.
