Any stove guys???

I've got a Hitzler coal stove the ass hats that built my house put the stove chimney opening in the wrong chimney.

I've been kicking around the idea of cutting the side of the stove and running the pipe up from there to get rid of the extra horizontal pipe I don't want.

Figure I'll throw it out here for thoughts before going to store store and asking them.

So what say you?

If this coal stove were to be vented from a different side there is a very good chance it wouldn't operate properly.

Perhaps you could find some 45 degree pipe elbows instead of the 90 degree ones and come up with a more suitable arrangement.

On some coal burning installations a flapping vent is required.

I think his 90s can be manipulated to something else than just 90s. 
this is two 90s I turned into something else

I can but it won't like right as the front of the stove will be facing the door only 6' away and kinda looks stupid.

I can cut and weld a flange on making it an easy fix

I'm moving a lot more than what you have there.

Because of location of chimney I'm forward and than about 2' to the left

Cutting in and making a new location will be 2 elbows and a straight length up and out

i was just making a point the 90s are not only 90s
