Summer Plans

Any summer dreams out there? With luck I'll get more surfing in plus surf fishing and I would like to do a day fishing trip which I have never done before.

Annual vacation to Cape Cod, more crabbin, clamming, blowfishin, August 1st retirement, & hopefully another W&W fluke trip!!!!

Summer dream is to get a big buck on camera, or two, or three.

Going to Hawaii in July for my granddaughter's 1st birthday party and hopefully will do some pig hunting while I'm there. Will be back out again sometime in the Fall.

Travelling in the Summer is scary if you are flying. The airlines/airports are still effed up. I'm going to Italy in September.

As a kid, say for a bus ride to a mall, all of our distance travels were via the front, back doors or books.

I'll be heading to Italy also 14 days with the family.   We have a bucket list, we aren't getting any younger, lol

This will be my 4th trip. I was born there and have family there. My two Sons saw the house I was born in. The third will see it this year.

Nice that you were able to do that. My Grandparents were from Sicily. I was fortunate to have made my way there years ago.

I may take a side trip to Sicily this time. I will be in Southern Italy for two weeks.

Granted it was a while ago but I thought Sicily rivaled Italy for beauty. The whole Mediterranean is beautiful. Sardinia and Corsica were nice stops also.

I love Italy, was stationed there in Gaeta for 3 years in the late 90's. Got to meet family from grandmother's side around Naples and grandfather's side in Sicily. It was funny because some of them remembered seeing me as a kid when they visited the states in the 70's.

I really like Taormina in Sicily. It's very cool seeing some of the ancient Greek theaters and other sites from the BC's when Sicily was part of Greek and Phoenician empires.

Working on getting the wife and kids to go back there with me.
