Sheds and Shad

Got and found a pair of old sheds (sheds but not) and then later afternoon took a ride to the Delaware River and get out for my first shad trip (wade fishing). 2nd cast I hooked and landed a nice one. Should have went home then LOL. Took another few hundred cast before I hooked and land the 2nd shad. Ended having one other hit before I left cause my feet were frozen. Turned out I grabbed my old pair of waders that leak. So it was a good day with 2 sheds and 2 shad.

Here’s the reason they are sheds but not. Buck die right at shedding time. Found one antler 10 foot from the skull where the other was still on but pulled right off easily. I found one of his antlers the year before. Never found the other. Shame but may have died of old age, big skull, mass and funky rack.
