Pa elk scouting.

Took a ride out to Elk County PA this morning.  Walked about 8 miles in search of sheds. Definitely was in the right area but didn't find any bone. Crazy these monsters are only 4 hours away!

Find the wintering grounds which looks like you did. Guys have been finding them for weeks already as being posted on a shed hunting group

The locals watch those elk on a daily basis. I drew a cow elk tag in 2020.  All the outfitters watch the elk 24/7. The hunting was pretty competitive, the shed antler hunting is even more competitive. Even the non hunters keep a close eye on the elk. The biggest bulls all have names. Lol. 

It is beautiful country out there.

Elk County!   Born and raised in St. Marys Elk County.

I found a set 20+ years ago.  I only found them in fall, but they still were in pretty good shape.

Just another reason why Jersey is great if you take away the anti-2A BS and taxes. 

We have outstanding hunting, fishing, and general outdoor recreation opportunities all within the state or a few hours drive!!
