they call them rocky guide boots .... Gore-Tex for waterproof and this type of soles are more suited to NJ sandy flat ground.

They are a  great boot . They were a better version of the LL Bean Maine hunting boot .

seams don’t rub like the Bean boot .

‘great for both deer hunting and small game hunting . Rubber bottoms kept feet dryer in wet grass etc where leather boots would start to get wet

I attached pics of what I picture when I think of snow boots and what I think of for hunting boots. I’m sure there’s crossover, I guess this is just the first time I’m seeing hunting boots in that style that’s all. Hence my original question… thanks to the few who clarified.
