Delaware River fishing

I'm thinking about taking a shot at shad this season when they make their way up river. From what my boss tells me, I can fish both the NJ or PA side along the river for Shad with only a NJ fishing license. I'm reaching out to see if this is true or stay on our side of the river. Thanks

I do believe it is if you are in a boat a license from either state if you are on the bank you need a license from the state you are fishing from

PA boat launches charge a fee if you're going that route.

Can fish the Nj and Pa joined sections with either license .

I believe the plan will be to fish somewhere between Dingmans and Milford bridges
