I have about 7 within my area . Never see any poults in my 5 years of living there.  they come for a few weeks and are gone for months.  Not sure where they head off too.  Last time they were around was the fall, under my stand like clockwork. Once in a while I will see a massive flock in the winters on mount Vernon road heading up on the right in the curves.
