Kel Tec Sub 2000

Wondering if anyone has owned or shot one of these. Seen them around for about $400. Looked interesting

Palmetto had em on sale for $350 this past week with a rebate. 
 

I’ve shot them, the idea and concept is cool but you really can’t get a cheek wheld on the gun and for me that takes all the fun out of it. I was totally buying one until I shot one. They do make accessories, and you can get a mount for a red dot. But at that point I’m getting a nicer a PCC like Rugers or S&W.

These are ok. I had a 9mm and a 40 SW. I never really liked the feel of how they shot. OK for a SHTF bug out gun. But I replaced it with M4.

I like the Ruger a lot. Will probably be the next gun I buy.

It is definitely a cool gun and fun to shoot.  For the price just buy it.

S&W just came out with a new one that blows the kel-tech away.

 FPC series 9mm ,Smith reps had it at our range a few weeks back.

Jersey legal. Actually folds in half. At the receiver maybe?? Unable to be fired from that position.

This is exactly what I’m talking about. Will be my next gun purchase. Unfortunately probably not until October or later.

Ruger makes a great weapon. I would happily take a Mini 14 or 30 over an AR ( I know, blasphemy ) The thing about some Ruger products is price and accessories. The mags in particular tend to be expensive and proprietary.

Given the fine advice I think I'll pass on the Kel Tec.

The pc carbine takes glock mags, so that keeps it nice and cheap.

Don’t rule out the Hi Point Carbines. They are a cheap, reliable, and fun to shoot.
