(Completed) T-Top canvas replacement recommendations?

T-Top on my Key West CC measures exactly 74" by 50 1/2" but could go to 51".   Can't seem to find a replacement online.  Inquired with a couple of companies that do custom - pending a response.   Anyone have a good recommendation?

I went with G2 Outfitters - they are located in Barton VT of all places.  They helped me get perfect measurement.  
 

I went with Sunbrella as the material - very common and will be waterproof for a year or two then need a treatment.   $219 plus $17 shipping.  Well worth it.  
 

I got a lot of recommendations on here and Facebook and friends but prices ranged from $600 to over $1,000 most of the highest quotes were NJ guy - for the same exact material.   

I do appreciate the recommendations though but it does pay to shop around.  
 

They were really encouraging me to mail in old one but I did not want to risk being without and they were very anal about the measurements and I had to use geometry - one of the few times since HS.  I was drawing schematics and measurements and they kept rejecting until I got it right. My big carpenters metal square was helpful  to get proper radius on the corners.

SunBrella sucks 

stamoid is more expensive but lasts WAY longer 

also is much more weather proof

It’s a cheap 20’ 2” boat.  It needs to block the sun.  It is getting me to retirement that’s all the new t-top needs to do.  I don’t have hammer dollars!

when I see the right deal on a 24’ BW outrage in a year or two this boat will be gone.  
 

what idiot would spend thousand on T-top canvas for that boat?????

Stamoid top isn’t thousands of dollars 

and would last the time you keep the boat 

sunbrella starts to break down pretty quick. And never is waterproof 

water resistant  for about a year .

That’s why they make rain gear.  Main purpose is to provide shade.  When u are running and it’s raining the Stamoid ain’t helping ya.  Slow troll and drift - a little bit but again put on a rain jacket

I do not own a 31 contender -  hence my point.  It is a fair weather 20’ boat by design. I do have a giant penis however, so I can still sleep at night

Got rid of sun brella on every boat jack including the little boat .

‘sun destroys it too fast even if you treat it regular .

putting a small enclosure on ANY boat makes it that much more pleasurable to fish .

even the 19’ had it , and adds to resale .

 

‘it’s throwing good money at bad . When you sell the boat 2 years from now stamoid would look like new , sun brella won’t .

Jesus Christ it’s a piece of fabric with grommets. It fit perfectly. If it doesn’t sink the boat or strangle me while running - nice piece of shade for the price. Are you trying to save the human race from making such an egregious mistake?
