Adirondack Ice Fishing Trip

Headed north to chase the ice with this weird winter we are having down here. Fished warm water species the first day. Slow start but finished with a limit of pike. We hit a trout lake on day 2 hoping for landlocked salmon. We jigged plenty of smelt for bait but only managed 1 rainbow a perch and one missed runoff. Weather was great and the knob creek was plentiful. On the ice at sunrise and pulled tip up’s and sleds in the dark. What a blast. Can’t wait to get back up.
