What gun and load are you shooting for the Muzzy opener

Bringing my CVA .50 Cal Accura M/R topped with Leupold glass-

90 grains of Blackhorn 209 propellant, CCI primers, with 250 grain Hornady SST low drag sabots. 

Each deer shot has not taken another step with this setup. Shoots as well as the 220.

I haven't experimented yet but I do have tge sabots and 1000 hornady 240 xtp for loading 45 acp I will see if they are the same and I will have a lifetime supply if so

TC Encore.  290 grain Barnes TEZ. Blackhorn 209 80 grains by weight (110 grains by volume). 
 

But I will not be out tomorrow. Not the best weather to lose a days pay. Will take off opening day of 6 day instead.

Cva optima v2 with a 250g powerbelt and white hots .

Ran out of white hots , so I started experimenting with some other charges and bullets but so far , nothing I’m a fan of . Luckily a buddy had a few sleeves laying around for me for the week until I find some . 
 

shot my first deer with it last year , and it fell over dead in its tracks.
