Blustery Day Stripers

Jumped on my buddy's 34 foot regulator pushed by 900 ponies and headed south down the beach to Long branch, birds were working with a big fleet on them already . Fished there for little while and got tired of the BS so we headed back north into the bay. The birds were working for miles with fish swirling underneath them, they were scattered from Flynn's Knoll to West Bank. It was game on for the rest of day with no other boats around due to the steady west wind and incoming tide that was making the bay angry. Sometimes big boats are betterer..lol We finished the day with around 50 fish up to 25 lbs, most fish were in the 24" to 30" range all caught on shads and surface plugs .

Nice fishing and great catch.  Had to be tough in the winds on the water.  Just went out to give the chickens water and came back with frozen hands and face.  Even the chickens are staying inside.

Yesterday did ok blacklisting, but got caught at the "Rip" sandy hook at the wrong time to head in. It turned on us fast ,
