aging your Buck Knife

i was browsing around buck knives website and found an interesting link that you can age your buck knife. from the chart my buck 110 is from 2009. pretty cool. i like this type of stuff. they make great knives as well

I pulled out my Buck Muskrat folding knife and it doesn't have those marks.  It only has "313" and "USA" on one blade.  I bought it back in (approx) 1978 and it is in my pocket every day, all day unless I'm flying somewhere post 9/11.  It gut more deer than I could ever imagine, at least one black bear, too much small game to attempt to guesstime, and it ran a trap line for about 5 years which was the reason I bought it in the first place.  The two blades are much skinnier than when it was new, but it keeps a great edge and I'll never need another most likely.  Lost - misplaced more like it - a few times, but never for more than a week or so.
