Sunrise stripers

Headed out with Tracey and Mike this morning.

bunker was close to home, since we were early out I threw the net .

‘Quickly snatched WAY too many bunker . Filled live well and threw another 150 back .

worked many pods away from the fleet , to find some with dogfish .

some with bass and others with no one home .

quick shots at fish , and then instantly gone .

some nice fish hit the deck , kept one 34” bleeder .

back in the slip by 1030 .

Went south to IBSP figured south wind would kick up and make the ride home a little more pleasant. Tons of marks plenty of bunker but fish had lock jaw. Left before sunrise. No one was doing anything

he threw the cast net - LIVE LINE BUNKER for sure.   That is exactly what I did yesterday morning except i do not yet own a cast net I had to snag for ours

Took both of us to pull the net over the gunnel. I'd say it was full

Yesterday out of Barnegat we landed 10, all throw backs!  Too big!  But a great blessed day.
