Last crabbing trip for ‘22

Tracey and I headed out today for more than likely the last crabbing trip of ‘22

had to move around a lot to make a catch , but we finished out with a great bunch of jumbo crabs .

great lunch , and froze a few dozen for another day .

hopefully we put enough up the last few trips to enjoy them through the winter .

Do you steam or anything before freezing, or just freeze them raw?

Done it both ways .

I live clean everything , then put them away whole most times now .

Great catching Dan !!!!    WOW,   I am already missing going....I was hoping to get out one more time, but between work, hunting and trying to keep my wife......"almost" happy.....I just can't find a morning to go.

 

But again....your post has me searching for the time for one last trip of the year !!
