Nosler custom shop ammo??

I bought .257 Roberts + P ammo (100 gr. Partitions at 3,000fps at muzzle) from Nosler's Custom Ammo shop maybe 18 months ago for a new deer rifle (Kimber) and they told me then that they would "always be able to load this round for me because we shoot that round to test all of our .25 caliber bullets every day".  I've only shot half of one box and have a second full box from last year, but wanted to shoot it some more and wanted to have ample ammo on hand before doing so.  It appears that Nosler has shut down their custom ammo shop and to date, have not returned two emails through their website (and I have an account with them).  Wondering if anyone knows anything about their current situation?  Customer service?  I can handle the truth, but I do need a reply.  I don't get why companies don't get that.  Customer service is dead and buried in the US!

Enough of my rant.  :)

Probably due to ammo shortages.  They'll make more banging out .30-06, .308, 9mm, .223, 5.56, etc. to fill existing demand than doing custom orders.  I bet they shut the whole dept. down and moved those people over to general ammo manufacturing to keep up with demand.

I have no issues with my new rifle. It’s a tack driver. I just need more ammo for it.

A lot of custom ammo like Nosler, Weatherby, etc have had huge increases in sales coupled with shortages in supply/delivery of materials. Weatherby just started to get better as to availability, hopefully nosler will do better

But with Nosler, there’s no longer a link to their custom ammo site at all. It’s like it disappeared into thin air.

That ammo isn't custom...that's why i said you may want to switch to it (Although, it's 10 grains heavier).

They load it for their customer’s orders. It’s not their normal ammo line. So it is very much custom. The boxes I bought have my name on them. That’s not store bought.

I understand, but if there is no link anymore and no response then they may be done doing custom hand loading. Another option may be Griffin & Howe at Hudson farm. I would bet they can and will do the exact same bullet. However, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

A good reason to start reloading. I haven't shot rifle ammo in years that I didn't load myself. Certain Components are still somewhat difficult to find but if you locate what you need there is some additional satisfaction taking an animal with ammo you loaded or shooting great groups with it on the range
