Brings me back to my early hockey days. Obviously never good to be injured but it's refreshing to see a child and parent handle it well. I've seen a whole lot in my years of coaching years and some parents are a bit out there.

My younger kid is real tuff. Been through stuff that would bring an adult to there knees and just prods along without complaining.  My older kid, the great bodybuilder, he thinks himself an old time Sicilian bandit, the valente. He is on a first name basis with the orthopedic doctor and never stops complaining....

She faired pretty well my Polock blood doesn't bruise very easily, she woke up this morning swelled with very faint discoloration, meeting with ENT Dr tomorrow morning just to make sure no underlying problems.

Yeah you gotta be tuff to play field hockey. My daughter played for Warren Hills also and she too took a lotta shots to the head. Actually I’m dismayed that they haven’t figured out a head protection system for the kids. Hope she’s okay. Go Streaks!!
