Nice night once the wind died down.

 

 

Pequest off to my right.  Woodies were having a blast all afternoon / evening.

 

 

Looking straight ahead.  I made the trail at the bottom of the pic over the summer with a quad I borrowed from the farm.  Two does and a three-point walked down that trail today and I gave them all a pass.  I am not a trophy hunter, but I have one doe at the butchers already and a promise to hunt a really great tree or some sort of magic spot a week from Monday, so I decided to hold off.  Plus it would have been a long drag and I had some stuff to do tonight.   But still a great night to be out.

Nice looking spot.  

 

I hope next Monday's spot proves as magical as you have heard.  The surplus of acorns has significantly limited deer movement in the area.
