Dig into the Gut Pile - Hearts

I'll try it, for sure. If I get a deer this year. lol. Heart is wasted meat.

I have had similarly grilled chicken hearts at a Brazilian restaurant. Excellent. Those Brazilians know how to cook meat.

When I was a kid, my buddy's father would make homemade chicken noodle soup and use chicken hearts. Fun to eat for kids.

The hearts are delicious!  I like the liver too!

Agreed, although I don't eat livers from older deer or ones that are down in the valley near the farmers' fields.

How about lungs? I think they're the best, and they're also the one part that cannot be legally purchased from any mammal slaughtered legally in the US. So they're a hot item for me when I open the chest cavity.

AGreed. Those long skewers of chicken hearts in the churrasquerias are awesome!

how do you cook the feet, bob?

I've always hated cows feet.

Never made cow's feet although that is another delicacy in asian cuisine.

Here is a way I have done them. Finger licking Good.

I always wanted to try it but all my shots have been Heart shots with NAP SPITFIRE MAXX and they destroy the heart so I will have to take your word that it is good.

I typically grind it up in my ground meat. No one can tell and the taste is great anyways.

heart by itself tastes a bit like iron obviously but delicious anyhow.
