anyone doing any fishing ?

Havnt gone fishing this year yet. Was thinking of going next week during the week have off Thursday and  Friday .  Living in UnionCounty . Should sandyhock be good this time of year? or should i go down more ?

Not sure what you are looking to catch. Just remember that the fall migration moves from north to south. The Hook has seen some Albies and blues at times within casting distance from the beach. It will only improve and bass will show as the weather cools and bait moves en mass south out of the bays and rivers.

If you are able to...get on a boat. Lots of near shore action now.

Point pleasant to island beach state park has a big run of mullet right now. Lots of assorted sized blues following them into cuts and holes along the beach.

had about 20 min of all you could catch cocktail blues last night a high tide on a 1oz crippled herring.
