rcolman018
I’m thinking about taking the boys down on Sunday. May be a dumb question, but is it normally dog friendly? Maybe I’ll bring her along too.

Cousin Brown
Not going this year, I'll be at my kids hockey games in PA all weekend. Treestands don't demand, treestands don't complain, treestands simply ask me to sit down and listen.

rackemup
I just got back home, it is a nice weekend to check it out. There were alot more vendors there than last year (they were in limbo last year if it was going to happen because of covid). Theres a few guides there if anyone wants to talk to them. I try to support an artist when I can so I bought this mini sneakbox by Fred Reitmeyer. Which is similar to the sneakbox I have. 9CAS1
My first time going today and it was cool all the craftsmanship. The log rolling at the seaport was also a ton of fun to watch, that big guy could really run on those logs! Are there typically more decoy vendors? E.g. cupped, avian, hgh etc? Or is it mostly carvers?
DarthWaderTroj
I was hoping there would be more vendors with gear and calls. Still it was pretty neat to see all the decoy carvings. In the back of the Ducks Unlimited tent there was a vendor who's father owned an art gallery and her father died unexpectedly and they had to close. She is selling prints of old duck stamps and some actually have the stamp with it. My favorite duck is a pintail so I got this one from 1983 for $16. She needs to move all inventory so if you are into that sort of thing go get a beautiful print. Russ 11, DonW and Cousin Brown
vdep217
Was there with the family. Ran into @tuny. Nice seeing you again. My lab got to play fir a few minutes with his pup while we bsed. Got my annual set of ducks unlimited fillet knives. Not the best for fish but excellent for butchering deer. Also got the pocket knife. Grabbed a couple duck calls chatted with a couple of the outfitters I know and on the way out grabbed 3 t shirts for 40 bucks. All in all kids had a good time Edited September 25, 2022 by vdep217
