Reveal cams dislikes already

Running. Cams with energizer lithiums . Man do they eat batteries for the amount of pictures sent 

and it’s ridiculous you get an alert for every picture sent instead of that a group of photos sent .

takes 10 minutes to transfer pics where getting a bunch from .

phone and iPad  dinging away that long

Im sure you know you can change the way the pics are sent which will save battery life as well.

Only have them sent twice a day now .

You can put a delay in the camera as well to reduce the amount of photos. The Reveals can pretty much do everything any other cam can, and then some.

Doesn't matter what brand camera,  if you have it set to send with every picture batteries will die fast. It takes alot more power to connect each time to the tower then it taking pictures.  Have set to send twice per day it will conserve power, if on video batteries won't last. 

Agree on the notification alert with each picture sent but the sound doesn't bother me

I have delay set at 5 seconds and only taking one pic at trigger instead of a burst .

Guide says 4000 pics using lithiums 

at 400 im already at 60%

going to change delay to 30 seconds

I do 2 minute delay and sensitivity 6 . I get long time on Duracell alkaline batteries. You can turn off alerts ask BHC  or call Tactacam .

Next time don’t be so cheap and get the sk model 15 months and batteries go between 80 and 100 percent after a year. But yes every night at 5pm the pics are sent one at time and can be annoying

IMO cameras facing north take best pics all day .

The sk would benefit being south facing .

IMO instead of the SK would rather use XB and put a solar panel on the south side of the tree .

Cell service plays a major role in battery consumption. I send pictures as they are received. Most of my cams will get me 3000 pictures before the lithium's quit however one will only do about 1500 before its done and it is in an area where my phone has zero reception. The massive price increase in lithium batteries is my current issue.
