Monksville

My buddy and I had to get out on the water today, too nice of a day to not spend outside.  Was on the water at Monksville at 6:30AM.  56°F, water temperature was bath water warm and a light mist lingering on the surface.  So far this is the best day I've had in a long time.  I didn't pack a good camera or any other distractions.  Got on the water with the intention of spending the whole time starting at the world around me and not a screen.  Only took a few photos to share the experience.

You didn't read what I wrote.  I just wanted to get on the water to float around and soak it all in.  I had considered bringing the rod, but all I wanted to do was decompress.  Objective achieved.

Afternoon snack before dinner. Clams casino on the recteq. The shells will be crushed and added to the garden.

perfect day for that all of that. i was stuck at work, but the overtime pay is nice too. this morning was so nice out.

I was working with Freshwater Fisheries when the Monksville was built.  We stocked it with smallmouths that we caught in Yards Creek.  Talk about a rough day at the office!
