I’m fortunate to have hunted them while still fairly prevalent in several northeast states including NJ. fdsmiles Posted August 11, 2022 Share Posted August 11, 2022 they were a big part of my youth hunting here in northern nj.took my younger brother when he he first got his license.had a spot here in morris cnty that always held grouse.it was the best box of ammo i ever purchased.i think he shot 15 or 16 times without a feather.great memories of a great bird.
