Newton theatre anyone been?

Have plans to attend a concert at the Newton theatre in October.  Never been inly driven past it.  How is the venue? Any local watering holes for pre show beverages?

I try to stay out of Newton, never been in the theater.  Hampton diner is just north of town on 206/94.  Can't think of a good pub in the area if that's what you're looking for.  Have to know which way you're coming from.  Could be something before you get there

Coming from Roxbury.  I know of a few places along 206 on the way just wasn’t sure if there was a spot in town.

O'Rielly's pub and grill is right down the road from newton theatre, If a dive bar is more your thing, The Greeks on 206 in Andover

Thanks!  Close to the venue is better so Oriellys it is!

Newton Theater was totally renovated a couple years ago. Have been to a couple shows there since it was done. You will have a good time. 

The Greeks, O'Reilly's and Applebee's- all nearby or on the way like said.

We see a show or two there each year, the theater is small and old but we like it.   Sheridan's is one of our go to pubs in that area.

little out of the way but boomers place by swartswood is fun place. redneck dive shot and beer bar with yukon jack! have food but never ate there

Great place to see a show pretty much anywhere you sit the sound is fantastic

I saw the Outlaws there over the winter, had dinner at Buck Hill on the way there, and finished the night at the  Greeks afterwards.   Thankfully I had a DD.  Venue was great I thought
