Came Home Today

3 weeks for permits, under a week to ship from buds and 3 days for nics.

Plan is for this to be my primary carry. Not gonna do ccw til next year.

springfield emissary 4.25" barrel 9mm

Did four trigger pulls @ 5.25, 5.25, 5.0, 5.25

with 9 rounds in a wilson combat vickers 10 round mag weighed in at 45.43 Oz

i was also looking at a hellcat for a secondary then came across the xd-s. 

will be getting  the xd-s in 4" barrel model with crimson trace red dot 9mm in 30 days. Buy before the 31st this month and get 3 more mags rebate thingy

I have an xdm I will be keeping at my parents in Florida.

Very nice gun. I would never carry a 1911 though. 

Plenty of videos about it. With todays choices, there are better. 

BUT I very much like the gun. I hope to have a TRP some day.

Curious as to why you wouldn't carry a 1911 style gun other than weight.  Alot I hear is because people don't want to carry with hammer cocked but what's the difference if you carry a striker fired pistol loaded.
