I've never seen one before, in fact I didn't even know there was such a thing.  I crunched down on one last night while eating some clams that a friend got earlier in the week. Tiny little thing.

There was an article recently in my local paper about a guy getting one in his order at the Lobster House raw bar. Apparently it was a nice pearl and possibly worth some money. Pretty cool
