Me and Bugs gave some old school frogging tonight.

Homemade bamboo spear  and we're off lol.

Wound up with a dozen and went home stinking on top of it lol

Teach a kid to frog spear and worts for the rest of their life !   WoW that brings back some memories of exploring   the woods and creeks as a kid !   I remember one day as kids we had 2 buckets full of frogs (alive ) brought them back to my friends house and all the moms after a lunch party ,walk up on us in the drive way and asked what we had in the buckets ,we opened the lid and all the frogs start jumping out of the bucket everywhere and the moms all started screaming and running away in their dresses and high heel shoes. 

maybe you had to be there to see this ,trust me  funny as hell when your 8 years old

When we were caddies, we used to gig them on the two ponds on the course.

Probably had the first deep fryer.  The Kentucky Colonel has nothing on us.

We often wonder what was in those ponds, 'cuz those frogs were nuclear. They were huge. Surprised we didn't glow in the dark after eating them.

Goal is to get a catfish tonight then make catfish nuggets and fried frog legs tomorrow.

I like doing them the same way I do the puffer fish Cajun seasoned flour and a light beer batter.
