Lt. Batten and CPO’s Malinski and Bahrle responded to a complaint of a vehicle driving around the gate and entering the closed area of the Menantico WMA in Millville, Cumberland County. . . . In a separate incident another vehicle was identified going around the gate. After dark, the operator may have forgotten about the presence of the gate on the way out and struck it causing significant damage to both the vehicle and gate. The owner/operator was later apprehended and charged  . . .

CPO Vazquez and Malinski were conducting video surveillance of White Oak WMA when they observed an individual break a lock from the gate allowing multiple individuals to gain access to the WMA. The violator was identified and charged. On the same day of being charged the individual, again, removed the lock from the same gate. Initial charges included damage to state property, entering a restricted area and criminal mischief. Secondary charges are currently pending.
