Blustery Blue claws

Tracey and I  headed out in a stiff 20/25 knot wind to try and put some crabs on ice .

plan was to catch enough for dinner , and get off the water .

only ran 11 traps today , but was good enough to put 3 dozen nice Jimmies on ice in just under 2 hours .

Nice! Glad to know a good amount of keepers can be had.

I usually don't go out crabbing in June but this wind sucks and I won't be able to go out for fluke at all this weekend... I might drop some handlines in the back bays out of the wind.

I had lobster for lunch which I would have gladly traded for blue crabs. They look delicious. I think I have to head to Stumpy's (dividing creek) to get me some of them.
