He cut alot of lawns to buy that and a Garcia spinning rod 6&1/2' light action. mazzgolf Posted June 19, 2022 Share Posted June 19, 2022 My dad still swears by them... growing up on Rockaway Beach (Long Island) is when he first used them. He gave me this years ago - at the time I remember him telling me something along the lines of "best reel ever made, bar none" or something to that effect . I don't use it, but he still uses it when we go out - he won't use anything else! (well, I take that back - he did just recently buy a new rod/reel combo, but more to get a more stiffer rod than for the reel that came with it - I bet he'll take that new reel off and put this Mitchell on the new rod lol) I always loved the little capped container to put the extra reel in - sign of quality!
