1st time Clamming Tips

Hey Guys, thinking about taking my kids clamming later this week for the first time.  Was thinking maybe the tices shoal area on the back side of IBSP.  Any tips or pointers?

I would think you should steer clear of Tices especially after a busy weekend of boaters spoiling the area. Go further south near the sedge islands
