Ok Sea bassing

Headed out with Craig, Rob , and Rocky this morning .

tried drifting eels for stripers at first light .

Could hardly get the boat to move , absolutely no drift .

moved onto sea bass .

had steady catching all day , but a zillion shorts to every keeper .

28 nice sea bass hit the ice hotel , along with 2 slot fluke Rocky caught .

Craig and I each had our limit .

‘Also had a bunch of blackfish today (all released) .

fish hit  a mix of jigs as well as bait today .

 

.crazy run through a huge thunderstorm , and it got super nice again as it passed , but the current this afternoon had the boat screaming through the ruff stuff .

Nice. Yeah that storm had some heavy rain in it and lightning.

Maybe in October if things get better, if not it will be deer killed on the front lawn

Yep , he is self sufficient .

Great group of guys who stay at the rail and fish hard all day .

I am well aware you don't like coddling your guests. That takes you out of the action.
