Southern NJ, Here They Come

There was a bear down here in Gloucester/Camden County area a couple years ago - made the news.

Then there was the time when me and a friend were turkey hunting (Gloucester County) and we swear we had a bear nearby... this was almost 10 years ago now (goodness how time flies!):

Bears have long ago been documented in every New Jersey county including Cape May. Old news. The reality is there will never be a bear population in s. Jersey equal to the north Jersey pop. There’s simply not adequate suitable habitat throughout the pines to support such a population.

There weren't many bears in the northwest 20-30 years ago, they will migrate and adapt to the South and flourish there 20 years from now!
