South Branch Smallies

Been feeling better so I dusted off the waders and hit up the SB early. Waded about a mile and came up with 2 Smallies. All caught on a kietech. One was 3.5 lbs. There are some really nice smallmouth in that river if you’re ok with covering some ground.

Yea I started out with one but but it wasn’t getting hit. Usually do well with them especially in the Passaic.

I didn’t see any beds and that big one looked like a pre spawn female. Chunky
