Bears are active

Just received a pic from my buddy. Bears on camera constantly. In Sussex cty (Wantage) at our lease.

we all know bears are trouble now, and will get worst as long as we don't have a season

I shudder to think how many bears will cover Sparta Mountain where I hunt in a few more years.  We average two sows giving birth to 2-4 cubs each year on the same property. And few cubs seem to get killed by large boars, so they typically reach adulthood.  When we had the hunt, those on the adjoining 3,000+ acre WMA next to us helped keep the “herd” down.

Wouldn't to active and hungry after sleeping all winter.

We had one running around in Westfield and another in Rahway a few days ago. They are everywhere right now.

Didn't take the bird feeder down or put my garbage in the garage one night last week and paid the price.  Another feeder trashed, torn in half this time.  Cleaning up my garbage in the neighbors yards.
