Ammo from cabelas.

Got some gift cards to burn, does anyone know if cabelas still sells handgun ammo to nj residents with in store purchase?  Thanks

Sorry, battery died.

I was there today at Hamburg.  No 357, no 44 special, no 22 dog launcher blanks.   So everything I was looking for, no luck on inventory. Line to register was as long as I've ever seen it.  Nobody mentioned any issue to NJ ressies, but I would call ahead of time for stock.  Definitely a different store than it was several years ago.

agreed, much different.  we went a couple months ago and my son ran around and saw the fish and mounts so it was a win for us.  figured ammo is a good thing to burn some gift cards up with.  used to get it shipped to the house with cabelas club points, but since basspro took over no more shipping to nj.

I haven’t been to the Hamburg store in years but I have no trouble buying ammo at the DE store.

I bought ammo from DE, Hamburg and NJ stores no problem.  Of course, needed FID for NJ store, and they won't ship ammo to NJ residents any longer.

I don't even think they checked ID last time I was there, but of you are worried. Bring your passport it shows your age but doesn't have your address.
