Two great days in the bay !

I hit the bay on Monday on a solo trip..it started out before sunrise with winds around 10 to 15 mph and a small chop.  By 8 am the winds were 15 to 25 mph and a 2 foot chop...Not the best kayaking conditions,  but the bass were chewing  !

I wound up with close to 20 bass, all in the mid to upper 30 inch range...a memorable 3 hour trip !

Yesterday morning, with perfect conditions and absolutely no wind, I  loaded up 2 of everything and played "guide" for the morning...I  met up with an only second time kayaker that had such a great time, I think he went straight home to order one ! LOL

There were 4 of us out yesterday and we all landed between 10 and 20 bass each, and the best part is that we were the only ones within a mile of anyone,  except the occasional boat trolling by..

It wasn't fun gathering together all the gear for 2 kayaks, cleaning everything  and loading and unloading....but my friend brought the beer, so it was all worth it !! LOL

Which bay? Raritan? I know guys are catching pigs in the Raritan. We were catching in the Great Egg Harbor this past weekend, but they were on the small side.

Yes,   Raritan Bay.

Even though the schoolies are running up the GEHR don't be surprised to land a 30+. Just keep it up Mazz.

My "Handle" is not my aim, I'm paralyzed as a C 4-5 quadriplegic.
