Msgdan
I hit the bay on Monday on a solo trip..it started out before sunrise with winds around 10 to 15 mph and a small chop. By 8 am the winds were 15 to 25 mph and a 2 foot chop...Not the best kayaking conditions, but the bass were chewing ! I wound up with close to 20 bass, all in the mid to upper 30 inch range...a memorable 3 hour trip ! Yesterday morning, with perfect conditions and absolutely no wind, I loaded up 2 of everything and played "guide" for the morning...I met up with an only second time kayaker that had such a great time, I think he went straight home to order one ! LOL There were 4 of us out yesterday and we all landed between 10 and 20 bass each, and the best part is that we were the only ones within a mile of anyone, except the occasional boat trolling by.. It wasn't fun gathering together all the gear for 2 kayaks, cleaning everything and loading and unloading....but my friend brought the beer, so it was all worth it !! LOL Codaboy, DonW, Batsto and 19 others 19
