Raspberry blossoms are doing well.  The bushes are thornless, are in their 5th year, and we just let them grow.  They've decided they like the hazelnut bush, so they are growing into each other.

Celery, onions, cantaloupe, and parsley all coming along.

Things are really taking off this summer.  Cherry tomatoes on the vine, peppers flowering (two kinds), and the raspberries might have a bumper crop!

That does look like things are coming along well. I only have 2 roma and 3 big boy small tomatoes out so far. Peppers are doing good. Picked first cayenne last saturday but will be about 7-10 days for more to pick. Basil is going crazy. Already have enough for whole summer. Long hots ready to be picked any day now. Waiting on broccoli and zucchini to pop out. Plants getting big but no veggies on them yet. But your garden seems to be coming along great for north jersey.

How'd it work out for you in the Poconos?

Graybeard tried for years don't work up north!

Looking at the pictures you can have a great garden there Adam.

Asparagus is one of the most expensive vegetables to buy in the store.

My favorite side dish out of The frying Pan or off the grill.

Harvest is so prolific now I used to cut them everyday just below the soil parboil vacuum seal and freeze.

Get your seedlings and plant them now

Thanks pal!!  I can’t quite remember how they fared up in that rich Pocono soil….I was in high school and was busy chasing tail n other things on my mind….my dad had me n my lil bro “picking up rocks from dawn til doom” out in the garden, planting, and building a rock wall….couldn’t wait for that dinner bell to ring!  Lol

my dad grew asparagus in Toms River before we went to Pennsy, guess the sandy soil was better. I see it growing wild in Assunpink sometimes but not too a lot of it to cut.

i have limited space. minus the whole area that floods. when i was choosing which fruit tree to go with i went with peach because

1. peaches are delicous

2. peach trees are self pollinating. other fruit trees require at least another tree to pollinate them selves. at least thats what i read on the interweb.
