Greybeard
My lettuce and spinach just started breaking ground few days ago from my last post. They do well in cold weather unless there is a hard freeze at night. Potatoes haven't broke ground yet except the few coming up in the mulch pile. Stuff should shoot up next week when it warms up. Just getting to time to plant next week up here.

deadonshot2
I have 4 zucchini plants in the ground for 2 weeks now. Buy my plants at Rosie's farm market in Mullica Hill each year. The zucchini plants were huge so I took a chance. They are doing well though despite the early planting. I put tomatoes cages around them and cover with plastic cans on cold nights. Looking to.plant rest of stuff Tuesday or Wednesday when night Temps look to stay above 50 degrees. Planting Roma tomatoes, cucumbers, cayenne peppers, long hots, red and green bell, Italian frying peppers, And a couple other hot peppers I bought at Columbus Market. If Rosie doesn't have what you want, try her cousins place just down Rt 77 from Mullica Hill, Sorbello Girls. They have a lot of stuff in different stages in the green house out back. Price is still not horrible either, like most other places. They are not much different than last year. I know about her cousins farm. Rosie always has what I want. I hit the green houses early and continue the growing in my garage until planting outside. Rosie always has healthy plants. Never been disappointed.
