Yesterday's Memories, Today's Traditions, Tomorrow's Legacy. The Appalachian Bowmen of Sussex County Traditional Archery Rendezvous began as an idea to promote a sport that at the time had a very small following. In 1992 this grand event began and would expose outdoorsmen and women and their families to the enjoyment and the challenges of the Art of Traditional Archery.
