Tip Up tip…

Ice season seems to be in full swing. I picked these tamers up last year for my tips ups. Sure beats having hooks stuck in the spool/pack basket you can’t get out or lost and busted rubber bands in 20 degree weather.

Another idea is to use bobber stops on your tip up main line as a marker once you set your depth. You can slide it up or down your line and quickly reset after a fish without checking your depth again.

I started doing the same thing except using the old school shirt button method. Same thing with the weights to check depth. Great tip!  It saves some time when setting up and getting dialed in.
