She has a bear called “The Doorman” at her front door and she proceeds to tell him several times to close the wide open door which after a few attempts it does. How this person is not arrested and put in jail once and for all is mind boggling. And how irresponsible is it for a T.V station to air that. Rant over. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

The state will do nothing to her. She is continuing her practice of making bears accustomed to interaction with humans. They are completely aware of what is going on and make no effort to do anything about it.

When I used to be on Facebook I would report everything she would post of thjs nature to DFW and they always said the same thing. "We will forward this to our legal team" and exactly nothing would happen. This state and DFW are a joke.

DFW tried to prosecute her for feeding bears in 2019. Her lawyer argued DFW couldn't prove she was directly feeding bears. Here's part of his argument: "How do you know that she wasn’t feeding raccoons, beavers, coyotes, fox or any other animal?"

The judge agreed and found her not guilty (Not Guilty).

Now anyone with slightest knowledge of wildlife knows a bear is typically not going to do things like close the door unless it has been conditioned to human interaction, such as being fed an easy food source.

She and her attorney know how far she can push the envelope while staying within the law.

It's sad to say it, but she'll probably continue to get away with it until she (or even worse someone else in her area) gets mauled. Even then, she'll try to shift the blame around....
