Purchased the Diamond HD 10x42 for my son I think last year and I paid 169.99 in Cabelas. I swear it had to be a mistake but guy said they were on sale. I’ve yet to find the HD for that price again. Overall all they are very good. We were going to purchase the crossfire but guy behind counter said compare both in the big game room with low light and the HD diamondbacks were a lot better in low light.

crossfire got very good reviews on various websites.....If I was on a expensive Mtn Hunt like goat, moose, elk, etc then yeah I can see more expensive ones, for NJ, Illinois type of hunts Crossfire is just fine

10x42 Vortex Razors. I compared them to my buddy's 10x42 Vipers. Didn't notice much difference in the daylight but sunset was a little better.

Burris Signature HD in 10x42. If all I used them for was eastern whitetail hunting, I’d have gone with 8 power. But I bird with them more than I use them to hunt, so I prefer the 10x.

For NJ and bowhunting, 8x. For out west, 10x. Anything higher, and I get headaches with long glassing sessions. I have also be come a fan of tripod mounting the 10x's, much better stability when using for extended periods.
